Q: Who Created Us?
A: The Scriptures declare God - even Jesus Christ created everything and everyone without exception.
John 1 (KJV) 1 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. 11 He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
Colossians 1:15-17 (NASB)15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.
16 For by Him were all things created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him.
17 And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”

Q: Why Were We Created?
A: 1) The Scriptures tell us that we were created for God's pleasure and for us to enjoy our lives and to carry out the good works (plans/activities/pursuits) that God has prepared for us:
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) 10 "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
Genesis 1:26-31 (NIV) Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,a and over all the creatures that move along the ground. 27 So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. 28God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground." 29Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31God saw all that He had made, and it was very good."

A: 2) To reign with Christ for 1000 years in a righteous government, (with immortal bodies) and after the 1000 year reign, to enjoy the future new world He will prepare for us who have been/are faithful to Him. [God knew Adam would fall - because He is God, (see "What is the Rapture" below) ]
1 Corinthians 15:51-55 (NLT) 51 "But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! 52 It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. 53 For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?l "

His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey Him."
